A signature is a group of pages printed on a single sheet, folded together. Common signatures are 4, 8, 16, or 32 pages.
Saddle-stitch binding uses staples along the fold line of the booklet. It works best for booklets up to 64 pages.
Perfect binding uses adhesive to attach pages to a cover. It is suitable for thicker booklets and softcover books.
